Crashed & Burned

Man, today we has to present our final research paper, we were to discuss the issue and also share what we learned. Today was my turn, and I went up to speak but all that came out was, "ummm.....and....ummmm....yeaaaah." It was horrible. I went up there thinking I knew what I was going to talk about but I totally forgot, I had note cards but still I just blanked out. (I know that the pig is doing math and not reading, but just run with it.)

Harry Potter

So I got the harry potter book this weekend, and I have partially started reading it but I'm not quite finished yet. People have told me that its good. But IDK. Well I'm looking forward to the wrap up luncheon, on Thursday, can't wait to see everyones web pages, so until then.

It's Friday..

Well it is finally Friday! So you know what that means....., tomorrow's Saturday. No but seriously it means that the week is finally over, I'm able to take a break from school for a bit, not really because I have to write another paper that's due Tuesday. But it's cool, everything will be alright. So I better run I have to study for my Calc test thats in an hour. Until next.......we'll you get the hint, later.

Wednesdays "Tornado"

Well im up doing writing an essay for my comp. class, but I keep getting interupted by the lights going on and off here on campus. Also people are getting all freaked out over the storm, yep there're tourist, not used to South Bend weather. It happens they'll get used to it. I just thought that I should post something new for my readers, being that it's been a while since I've posted something. Well I better finish this essay, catch you guys later.

Well Its Moday......Yet Again

So another weekend came and went, just to give way to another work week. Its cool though, the week usually goes by fast.

And I know that the calender isn't accurate, thats ok just run with it. :)

Leaving Without Me.

Well it finally Friday! Anyways today I was supposed to join the rest of the group on the trip to Valpo, but no I get to stay here and take another test. Well I mean I guess that's cool, (NOT!). That OK this weekends going to be crazy so that'll make up for it. Well I got to get back to work, later.

Not As Bad As I Thought.

Well I didn't fail the test I took on Friday i ended up getting a......, well lets just say i passed. But the cool thing about it is that the professor is letting is fix our mistakes for partial credit. So i can still end up with a decent grade, cool beans. Next time I'm going to study more and hopefully get a better grade. :)

My First College Test.

Oh my god, i just failed my first college test! The material wasn't difficult it was just that i totally blanked out while i was taking the test. I just cant believe that this just happened. Hopefully this wont affect me too much, and maybe i didn't do as bad as I think. hopefully.

Crazy, But Fun, Day.

I started school today! I am officially a college student. :p No but seriously, the classes were fun, and a lot easier than I thought they would be. But it is just the first day so we'll see how it goes from here. It was crazy though because as soon as I got done with one of my classes I had to run to Hesburgh to work and when it was time for my second class I had to hurry up and only had fifteen minutes to get there, so i had to run, while carrying this book bag full of books. Crazy but fun morning.

Very Funny..

Yesterday we had a seminar in the law library it was about sexual harassment, very serious. Ne ways, they had us doing skits or something and they were actually really funny, especially the ones form the IUSB students, Carl and Channel were hilarious. Not every one was there though, Andrea and Maranara were at Saint Mary's for orientation and Cory was, I don't know something about cake. LOL. Well it's time for me to get back to work so that I can finish up here and finally go home.

Helpful Advice.

On our way to GovDocs, IBK and I stopped by to say hi to Leslie, and she gave us a whole bunch of info about being a librarian. I never knew that there was so many different things that you can do with a librarians education. She told us about her friend that works for PIXAR and about how there are librarians that work for sports teams. Man that stuff was pretty cool. A librarian is more than a person there to tell you were to find stuff in the library.

An Inconvenient Truth shows the drastic changes of the planet. It has many before and after pictures of glaciers and cities and how they have been affected by global warming. Al Gore takes the issue and really analyzes the entire situation. Instead of just saying that global warming is bad and the government isn't doing anything to correct it, he shows facts that have been vigorously researched and proven. This book really explaines what global warming is and what it is doing.

A Free Lucnch @ The South Dinning Hall

Well yesterday they had us doing a scavenger hunt all over campus. I have to admit it was pretty fun. Kendra and I were teamed up as partner and we pretty much eliminated the competition. The first team finished in 3 and a half hours, and we finished in an hour and fifty five minutes! :) & we took a 10 minute break at BIC. That scavenger hunt was hilarious, we couldn't stop laughing, especially the chem/phys library. U know what I'm talking about Kendra. I think next time they should raise the stakes and make it more of a challenge, J/K.

Well after two weeks I have finally meet my mentor. He seemed pretty cool, seems really smart too. Well during one of the breaks he took me to the Huddle to get some drinks from Starbucks. (That was really cool of him).He told me a little bit about himself and about his trip to the west coast.

Hmmm......Crazy Wednesday.

Well the work day is now over. YESSSSS! Don't get me wrong, I like work it's just that it's been a long and crazy day. First of all I woke up late this morning and had to rush all the way to work, then I was sleepy all day, then during my lunch hour my sister calls me and tells me that she locked her keys inside the car, Ha ha ha, that was pretty funny because she's had that car for about a week and she's already forgetting her keys. So I had to drive all the way across town to take her the spare, and almost was late coming back to work because the lunch traffic was crazy. Now I can go home and rest up to do it all over again tomorrow. :)

With a rocky game 6 vs. the Pistons and a tough 1st game vs. the Spurs many are wondering is LaBron really all he's hyped up to be?

The answer is yes! Not only is he one of the best player of the game with stats such as scoring 48 vs the Pistons but also he has lead his team to its first visit to the finals in franchise history.

Well, LaBron and the Cavs did't start off to strong, but guarantee they will come back and take the title.

Global Warming

Global Warming is drastically changing the planet. It has changed the face of our planet, from melting glaciers to drying up lakes, and it is only getting worse. I have choosen to do my research on global warming because I believe that the way to combat global warming is to inform others of how we can prevent it. I will discuss how GB affects the world and also what we, the everyday Joe, can do to help prevent it.
